You can either save a new default scene, or save a clip file of your render node.
To specify a new default scene, set things up as you want it, save the TGD, then in the Preferences under Startup, for Project Creation select Load from file and specify the TGD you just saved.
To save a clip file of your render node's settings, select the node in the network view, right-click and chose Save Nodes as Clip File, or the same option from the File menu. Then in the future you can just Insert Clip File and load that renderer with all its settings.
There will be easier methods to do some of this in the future.
