Thanks Marc. The new computer really has helped me learn what lighting, atmosphere, and other settings to use. These make a huge difference! (Plant objects of excellent quality help also. Thanks Walli and Marc!)

Superb image. I like the rock displacements and the vegetation is beautifully placed. I'm not sure about the lakeside rocks though - they're a bit uniform and even in distribution.

Lovely image. I especially like the right hand lakeside, the vegetation is perfect on this slope. I agree with mhaze though, the rocks are a tad too big and even. More variation in colour too would help.

I have been having difficulty faking rocks lately. They all seem to render nearly white. Something new to work out...

This is a very nice image. Reminds me a good amount of the countryside outside Yosemite. Big rock domes and other features, visible from beautiful river beds. The tonality is particularly natural, where I find some of your images to be darker or more contrasty than I would like (at least on my monitor). Just a personal preference thing, but this one definitely works for me. I'd say the sharpness/noise in the water is the only let down. Maybe larger feature size, less roughness, or higher AA.
