Hello everyone,

After a little pause to try the new Vue 10 and Modo 601, here is a new image done with Terragen.

Also I would like to upgrade from Terragen Bundle to megabundle. Is it worth? Is it easy to create a new variation of tree in Xfrog and then export it again into Terragen?

xFrog has a 30 day trial on their site. I'd recommend trying it out.

Not sure I'd call it "easy" (Maybe Walli would, but I wouldn't  :) ). But it's definately worth it. I use xFrog quite a bit and modify existing plants and occasioanlly make new ones from scratch.  Mainly it seems to require patience while you work things out. In the begining I spent a lot of time muttering " now why the hell is it doing that!? Occasionally I still do

Hi Antoine, lovely image.

I'm curious, how did you find vue 10 and how would you compare it to images you create in TG2? I'm just after an honest opinion from someone that's used both, strengths, weaknesses etc

Cheers

Antoine

Thanks reck

Well, both vue 10 and Terragen 2 are great softwares each with their strenght and weakness, and all depends also of the knowledge degree one have of each software,
so, depending on the scene you want to create, you will prefer to use one or the other. Both Terragen 2 and Vue 10 can produce photographic quality images.
