Thanks guys,

Work on 'the end' was a bit rushed and difficult to fit in to be honest.

QuoteI kinda can get where the guy is coming from
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing Richard?

Cheers

The repeated banging head against brick wall, not the desire to end it all, just to be clear :)

Might be the last 'for love' project I do for a good while, was so tiring to fit around normal work. Must be getting old :(

As promised, I've done a brief write up on my work for swath. Sorry, it took a while to get approval.
It's not massively detailed but might give some insight into my general work-flow.

Great to finally see this write up. I think your workflow descriptions can really help inform some of the more advanced projects around here. I know several people have Zbrush, for example, and there are often questions about how to best move data back and forth to TG. Nice work, thanks for taking the time!

Great work Chris. I *think* I may even have walked in that part of the Cairngorms but it would have been over twenty years ago!
Really like your Zbrush/TG/Maya integration, very cool.

Great work and very nice to post it here! Thanks Chris  :)

Thanks Guys,

Sorry it's not more detailed but hope it offers at least a little insight.
I wanted to post some images of the node systems with explanations, but our tech guys archived all the files ages ago.

thanks for the explanation Chris !
I hope you'll do more fun jobs ;)

Matt

Thanks Chris! I know how difficult it can be to get material like this at the end of a production.

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

Thanks guys,

Terragen just get easier to work in production with, especially with all the recent updates, I should have also mentioned the passes that are now available, as they are invaluable.

Yep, together with the improved micro-exporter things should be much easier now :)

Perhaps it would be nice to have a reference some time on how to set up camera-sync between TG2 and Maya.
