change (increase) viewport rendering quality?

Hi all,

Is there a way to have Terragen2 increase the quality of the hardware viewport render?  I pause it often when moving cameras around, but when I let it compute, it 'finishes' at a cruder level then Id like.  can this be increased?

I'm not sure what you mean here. You make it sound like it finished at a different quality than usual?

The preview render has a fixed maximum detail level and uses a lot of shortcuts and simplifications compared to the real render.
However, if you finish the preview, pause, move camera, set new camera and unpause the preview than it should show it eventually at the same level of quality/detail compared to the first situation.

The preview render can be affected by some settings in your nodes. For example atmosphere and cloud samples affect preview render speed. This may affect preview render quality, but all in all the preview render is still calculating the preview in 5 passes (10, 20, 40, 80 and finished) and you can't change the way it is doing that.

Ah ok cool.  yeah I was trying to increase it a bit ... say to '110' haha.  anyways, just thought it was a setting somewhere i could tweak.

Thanks TU
