Hello,

Here an another image, I played with the clouds parameters and trying to import some objects in the scene.

I couldn't succeed with the reflective and specular parameters of the ships, not realistic enough (with a default shader). I didn't succeed for example to use a specularity map to get a realistic shader.
An another problem : The shadow part of the clouds (in the shadow of the mountains) looks totally flat. Even in changing the GI parameters (3 for the relative details and up to 10 for the sample quality) doesn't have any effect.
Could someone give some explanations on how to proceed ?

Thank you for your help.

Dune

You can add a reflective shader (RT) to the ships with an image map to control amount of reflection. Just add a no color surface shader between the default and part, blend it by an image map of the amount of shine (greyscale) and add a reflective shader as a child to the surface layer. Or a water shader (no waves, very transparent) for the glass. Play with the index of reflection for more metal look (usually higher... 1.5 or so, there's a list somewhere).

Cool.

Let us know if you get everything working the way you want it. Especially with the object shaders!

Thank you Dune. In fact the displacement was set too low.
Now, I have added much more contrast to the specular map and whitened the atmosphere ambiance.

The only thing I can't deal with is the shadow part (behind the moutains) of the clouds, they always look flat. I guess I would have to use some fill lights instead of GI to fix that.

Here an improved rendering which, I hope, is better.

I think it is improved. The aircraft are certainly more detailed now, and the overall color of the image is better too.
