Here is one I am playing around with.

I'm getting ready to release two ambient space music albums, and needed to make new art for CD / iTunes covers.

I need to update my website with new graphics, before it was Bryce, now it will be Terragen 2!

Badger helped me get the logo (3ds) imported after converting and then mirrored up.

I really like the planet in the right of the frame!

enjoy!

hmm, I think the stars need work, also the planet is a little rough, but it may work for that look of rough storms, not sure yet...

:o

I toned down the stars, cleaned up some harsh reflection on the logo.  It is looking a little better...

nice idea!
where does the reflection come from, I can`t see stars in front of the gas giant ;)

cheers

The stars are done in photoshop. The whole image had stars I painted them out with a mask.

So it is fake reflection for the stars.

The reflection Badger helped me with was getting my .obj logo to have a mirror like material.

Thanks for the comment :)

here is the final I settled on...

I like the whole image except for the torus around your logo. I would like to see it with far more polygons. I think the low number of faces flattens it out too much.

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

I agree. Being that there is only one object to deal with, and because TG2 can handle a whole lot more. I would bump that objects polly count up 10-15 times just as a start, just to see.

If that is your logo, than it needs to be perfect.

Thanks for acknowledging me elipsis. But in this cace all I did was take information others provided and out it in a more readily accessible format.
I am glad it helped in the way that it was intended.
It has been eaten.
