This is an image I recently finished for Lufthansa.

I exported part of the terrain to World Machine, applied erosion and imported back in Terragen for the final rendering. I also created a HDR panorama which was used in 3dsmax for the rendering of the airplanes and finally comped it in Photoshop.

Hope you like it!

Looks great Pokoy!
I am not sure about the scale of the mountain and planes but it looks very nice.

Outstanding artwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bjur

Wow, i love it!

Quality is top notch.

Why 2 Planes instead of one well placed plane (because of realism)?

Excellent result. I'm curious what the plane models would have looked like rendered natively in Terragen, but I'm sure Brazil gives some advantages for complex object rendering and materials.

Meto. Is there such a render?

Oshyan, what is brazil? Some plug-in for max?
It has been eaten.

Glad you like it guys, I have put quite some time into it so it's good to hear some good words ;)

otakar: Yes, I hope so!

Kadri: Actually, the mountain is quite a bit larger than real-world mountains, nice catch!

Bjur: Basically, we were looking for an appropriate background where we were able to show two planes and then ended up using this image. We usually show only one airplane, this time we needed to show two of them.

Oshyan: This is something I wanted to test to have an idea of how the plane would look with proper lighting in Terragen, but I haven't done so. If time allows, I'll import some of the fuselage into Terragen to see how it looks up there. Still, the ability to render HDR spherical environments in Terragen does help a lot (hint: it would be awesome to have this in Terragen out of the box :) ).

TheBadger: Brazil is a renderer plugin for 3dsmax, comparable to Vray. It's not available anymore and its development has been stopped quite some time ago, unfortunately.
