I was wondering if anyone has available or knows a place to purchase a great scene of the EARTH designed to be seen from space.
Not Earth-like, but EARTH itself with all of our known continents and such with global clounds..ect. I am working on a concept of seeing Earth from space so I won't be going any closer
than a satellite view. I have poked around the NWDA site and the community store and I even purchased the NVSEAL planet pack, but I don't see anything like this.
I'm willing to pay and I imagine that I could go use DEM maps to make my own, but I honestly don't have the time at the moment. So here I am to check and see what is out there.
Thanks for all of your wonderful help as usual.

The data is readily available, for example from the Blue Marble data set at NASA: http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_cat.php?categoryID=1484
It is however quite large, so it's not easily re-shared. Better just to get it from a source like NASA. Scene setup is fairly simple, at least in the basics. Use the Topography map as a Displacement Map in Spherical Projection with Displacement Height/Multiplier to the height of the tallest mountain on the planet (for realism, but you may need to exaggerate a bit to actually see any terrain shapes from orbit). Use an appropriate color map as a simple Image Map Shader applied to the planet surface, again in Spherical Projection (set the position center of the Image Map to be the same as your planet). Use the cloud map as a Density Shader or Final Density Modulator for a global cloud layer. Etc.

Thanks!, I'll give it a shot now and see how it works. Great link!
