Strange cloud fractal issue

While working on a cloud fractal, I achieved a distribution that I liked. However, as you can see, there is some wacky fractal (I'm assuming) stuff going on here. I've never seen it before. Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it? There is only one, cumulus cloud layer.

Cool-looking error. Try without the Acceleration Cache on in your cloud layer and see if that resolves it.

Ha! Why didn't I think of that.  That fixed it; but it also completely changed the distribution.
