I wanted to make that other image as an animation ,
but i could not get rid of this little spaceship crash landed in water from my mind.
So i made it! Another different take of this same scene is rendering too now.
Will be ready in 1 hour or so if there isn't any problem.

TheBadger

That galaxy looks really cool! Everything looks nice here Kadri. Like the vertical comp too.

How did you do the galaxy?
It has been eaten.

Kadri

Thanks!
It is an image map on the background node Michael.
I think i made it from a hurricane image.
Good that you asked Michael the stars are from a modified star field background tgc node file from Moodflow.

Kadri

This is the other one.Tried with an extreme angle.

yossam

I like the second one.  ;D

Kadri

:D You can rotate it  more. I nearly choose another one then this Yossam!

TheBadger

Like em both!

Are the clouds an image map too?
It has been eaten.

Dune

Very nice, Kadri. Crisp and odd. Maybe some flotsam from the wreck in the foreground?

mhaze

Fantastic image I love the cool clarity of the colours and the sense of scale.

Kadri

Thanks guys!

The clouds are real TG2 clouds Michael.

Ulco I thought about that but was afraid to cluttering up the image.
But there is something in the water on the foreground that you can see barely in the first image where the red color is (a dead astronaut).
In the second one there is only a little light and color from that to be seen.
That astronaut was on the foreground on the beach and is the remnant from the first iteration of this image that i made.

j meyer

Nice one(s).
The alien pilot could escape and is on his way to conquer the earth,I assume? ;)

fleetwood

Both are quite effective.
Can I ask at what contrast level you rendered ?
Or is the contrast set in post ?

Mor

Both images look very good. Great colors and the clouds are very nice looking.

Thanks guys!

J meyer i doubt that he can make it with that much of blood lost :)

Mor I did not change the contrast in Tg2.
I usually always make some adjustments in post regarding contrast color etc.
It depends on the render and the mood i want to get.
Here the sun is very low (2 degree) but the clouds have a color value of 4 for example and the other surfaces are reflective.
Then i made color and contrast adjustments in post.

Here is the image before (some) post work .
