For those of you who don't have time to render animations.
My computer is idle most of the time when I'm at work, that's generally when I render animations/stills.  If any of you want me to render out an animation for 3d glasses I would be happy to do it, I'll even put it together in Premiere.
I have pre-order tg2 deep + animation, so I would prefer files with animations already there.  However I might be able to make some simple camera movements for you if you have the free version.
The way I did it in the animation I posted in this thread: http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=485.0
is too create a second camera that tracks the first camera 100m to the left.  Obviously if you camera banks on a turn, you'll have to figure out the math to keep them the same length apart.

Wow!  That's really generous of you!  I have a couple of scenes that I would like to animate, but considering I'm stuck on a clunky laptop I haven't had a chance.  You might be getting an email from me sometime within the next few weeks ;).

Hay there, actually 3d Max has/had a plugin I helped dev about 7 years back for a video confrence in SF CA. and I believe it is still running around somewhere.  But it has the info you need to make the 2 renders and then Photoshop them in layers and then you can have the 3D effect.  I will see if I can dig that info up for you, I am not sure I have it on CD still anywhere but I will check next day or so to see if I can help at least with the settings to get the 3D effect. I forget off hand what the degree offset is for the camera. I may even still have the 3D files and could maybe post, but not sure if you could see the 3D and show up on the net though.

I'll be looking forward to it!
My previous computer is a P3 Windows ME computer, I'm trying to get the network card working so I can start rendering scenes nonstop from there.  At this point I will be rendering from my main computer when I'm not using it, so renders may take awhile.  Once I get a system down to save and compile animations I should be able to render scenes faster.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that TG2 works on ME - I think you would have to upgrade to 2000, XP, or Vista.

Well it should do.  If you have the right glasses have a look at this.  I did it almost 2 years ago to the day using 09.46v.  Not particularly brilliant but it does work. Sorry about the red square it rather gets in the way.
