Showing Black Box

When I am trying to render the basic of images (testing what I can do lol) well the render view box/screen is just black.

I am using windows 7 64 bit and was wondering what the issue could be?

Hi welcome to the forums...

This could be anything, sort of.
At first I think your camera might be below the surface, for example.
It could also be something different, but there are so many ways you can get something you don't want, that its hard to say what it could be.

Can you post the tgd project file? That should give the answer straight away.
