After an extended hiatus I finally decided to give TG2 another whirl.  Not to entirely give up, but other things showed up on my plate and I needed a break to rethink. 


My focus is not so much on an aesthetic view, but to reproduce to some degree some of the land forms found anywhere in nature.  From the large to the small, all you see here is produced largely by procedurals. To get here I have had to start and restart several times, wiping out everything I'd done and redo it all.  It still needs work, I know.

looks like a great terrain base to me! Just throw some sand on top of it and call it done.

Rich, you've produced my favorite kind of land-form; strata with the eroded verticals. Much can be done with this type of terrain. What you could do is add some color variations at different levels.
