Major Rendering Problems?
May 29, 2007, 10:40:47 PM
For Whatever the reason, I can't use any of the render options to view my terrain. I can see a preview in teh built-in, real-time window, but I can't render anything proper. my camera settings are all default, and all i get is a black starfield.

The "starfield" is the result of a Global Illumination pre-pass. The render will continue after the starfield is created and finish the scene normally. You can disable Global Illumination by setting both GI detail controls in the renderer to 0. This will result in less realistic lighting but rendering will be faster and it will skip the pre-pass "starfield" stage.
