Nice start. To be very short: I'd leave the sky as is, but make the distribution of shrub into strong patches, perhaps together with some rocky outcrops or piles of rock. Maybe add another species.

Love it; but, agree with Dune to add another variation of the vegetation - maybe some dried versions of the same bush you have used (a few).
