I like stuff like this. This is very similar to stuff I did on an old EMU sampler a long time ago. I used to do things where it started of with a lot of structure and went into a middle section somewhat similar to what you've done here or I'd start ambient and it would build into structure. Unfortunately I mixed this stuff down to casette and screwed it up into the bargain so it's heavily distorted. At the time I didn't realise how good it was and wasn't precious enough about keeping it. I also lost the sequences and sound banks otherwise I could have remixed it properly. I now actually have an EMU again (they go for peanuts on ebay) but an Ultra one which are superb but a little tedious to use. Still sounds much better than software though.

Thank you zaxxon and efflux... @ efflux you have some valid points about software versus hardware... There is often a deeply rich tones that are generated by analog 'machines'... But sometimes that warmth and depth could be a little unpredictable too... I remember working with a korg ms20 synth, a classic sound, but it would change it's tuning the warmer it got... It annoyed the guitarist alot because of this!! Though it is still replicated digitally today, without the vastly unstable analog features hat added to it's appeal!  I was using Morgana recently, a vintage sampler emulator - though too CPU hungry to be considered stable enough on my mac to use... Great tone and old school sound!
That vintage sound is often emulated to add warmth to an often too sterile and inorganic sound of digital music...

Thanks for taking time to listen
