Still tinkering... WM terrain... shame about the one or two explody rocks, one of which looks like it's raising two fingers at me!

Super terrain and I am digging the surfacing here a lot Eoin! One of the fake stones is most peculiar indeed! :))

Hello,

This is remarkable!
Specifically, I am really impressed by the sand. Please tell us how you did the sand!
It is near "powder" in appearance. I cannot recall seeing sand quite like this before. How did you make it exactly?
It has been eaten.

EoinArmstrong

Here are the WM file and the tgd... nothing too arcane at all, as you'll see... have fun :)

TheBadger

lol Wow. Thanks Ill take a look!
Im expecting to see a very long complex node tree for the sand... Lets see
It has been eaten.

EoinArmstrong

Sorry to have disappointed you!  Nothing fancy at all :)

TheBadger

NO! I am not disappointed, I am relieved.
I just opened the file in T2. And I see that it is not too complex. I was just impressed with the look of fine powder that you got, and thought it was probably going to be a long node tree. Pretty understandable though.  8)

Thanks again! Can never have too many dirt and sand clips!
It has been eaten.

pfrancke

that IS nice sand and wm -- thank you for sharing these!

The .tgd requires a .ter file; tg3-4.ter you haven't included.  I can't use a .tmd without WM sadly. Could you please upload that as well. I realize this is over a year ago but would be grateful...thanks.

Wow, I missed this one...
Looks very cool. Very nice terrain and sand.
Btw I downloaded the file but goes banana when I try to render it. Probably the missing .ter file that bobby mentioned?

That's the rock population arch, disable that and it renders fine...awesome textures even without the .ter.

Aww - thanks - I'll see if I can dig it out. :)

Is there a limit on upload sizes to the forum... changes are it's a 4096 terrain.

bobbystahr

It says on the upload/reply page what you're allowed; .zip or .rar it and whatever, it should fit.
