You have this when you walking on the street and looking the clouds and thinking:
-Hmm nice low level 3D Cumulus :o
There is only one cure for this... More Terragen!

The above happened with me and when I realized I was almost LOL on the street!

Do you guys had any similar experience?

Yeah.
But after I got used to it and the idea that the world wasn't real, I started spending all my time curled up in the fetal position under my desk, waiting for Mr. Smith to come and recycle my pixels.

It turns out there really is a spoon, it just does not mater.
It has been eaten.

Yes, there was a series of posts on this a couple of years ago as well, where users would see voronoi and perlin everywhere... it's a sign of early addiction, you'll get used to it  ;)

In the last years it is like
"when i had made this cloud or that rock formation i see in the real world everybody would say it looks fake"

What I think is cool, is that if you look at something in real life, and consider if you had rendered that at that real life quality, would you have been happy with the result?

Quite often you realise you probably wouldn't have done and if you had it wouldn't look photorealistic! Real life is a lot flatter and blander it seems that what I like to render!
