I try to populate an area with grass object but TG puts them in a big circle while I want them in a square on a specific point. I attached a screenshot. I did populate with another object before without problem but now I have no clue why the grass goes like this. Pls help if you know what I am doing wrong. Thanx.

You must copy from the camera the Position and paste it into the object's Area center/ Likewise, do the same for the camera's Rotation. Then, it should work.

I also noticed that you did not click on the camera/pov button (below the preview window, far left. Doing this will show you latest movement when you render.

It looks like you have at some point moved the Grass object within the populator. It should be in the center of the populator (where it starts out when you create a populator in the first place).

sorry guys but not tracking...pls take a look of the new screenshot. Not sure right now which one is the populator and which one is the object itself :-[

In the left screen, the tgo is the object (underneath the population). Set its location at 0/0/0.

I must add that this pop circle behaviour also happens when an object is at 0/0/0, but the object itself wasn't centered when made.

Hey, thx a lot...the circle is gone and they all in the square :D
Now I will do a lot of population to see how this stuff works 'till I know it cold!
