I had to do a Fall scene also. Love all the colors this time of year.
(TG3, free version) Shed by kessiah; trees by X-Frog; cattails and reeds by Dune, flowers from Planit3D, gulls by Terrade

If you really want autumn and leaves degrading, try adding a world space fractal to the opacity input of the leaves shader....

Redid the trees with the suggestion from Dune. It is subtle....maybe too subtle, but I think it is better.
Thanks to Dune and Danny G. for help with this. Greatly appreciated as it sometimes takes a lot to get something through my dense skull.

Yeah, nice. You might need to make the reed a bit pale gray-yellow in autumn. And why not do the same trick to the large trees?

Just seen the difference using world space fractal makes as I was viewing on a small tablet. Useful technique, thanks Dune.

The large trees have needles, so to my way of thinking, they don't change much. Yes, should have done something to the reeds. But will call this one finished and try to make the next one better overall. Thanks, again for all the help.
