How to use the render layer?

Hello,

anybody who can tell me how the render layer works?
When i tick it on and tell Terragen what to do, nothing happens.
Any suggestions?

Render Layers/Elements are only used for *Sequence Output* at this time. If you want to render elements out for a single image, you need to set the frame ranges to the same value, e.g. start frame 1, end frame 1.
