Lake Morning - Final

Recently I've been having Terragen block, no scene looks how I want it to. I was trying to force this one to be in a landscape format, but it fought back and eventually defeated me. The sky is pretty much exactly how I want it, except I might add another cloud layer. I also want to work on the mountain snow, smooth out the water a little, and add some slight DOF. Thanks for taking a look.

This is a very great start.
Horizontal view could work too. reducing the high part of the sky.

Thank you everybody! DOF really slows down the render, so I might not use it. I'll certainly render a large version a a final since I would also like to have it on my all

If you like the effect you can try these type of reflections in the water to add even more serenity to your render:

Small update. I've finalized the clouds and the mountain snow so all I have left to work on is the water. I'll try to recreate the effect in the links TU posted since I really like the softness of the reflections. I also decided that I really want to use DOF, even though it will take longer, I think the subtle effect ill be a nice bonus for the image.

I think I have everything the way I want it to look for the final, thus this ill be the last small one. I might make the DOF a little stronger since it's kind of hard to see unless you look for it. I'm also experimenting with photoshop adjustments to give the image some more pop. Thanks for taking a look, I'll let you know hen I get the larger version rendered.

After far too long, I've finally gotten this thing all rendered! I'm really glad that Terragen can do its on DOF now. I'd like to experiment with some wind patches on the water, but I don't know if it would really improve the image. Thanks for taking a look.
