Just wondering if I am missing a step.
I downloaded a geo tiff and image overlays from the USGS data center.
http://viewer.nationalmap.gov/viewer/Loaded the data into TG3 with Georeference turned on.
Selected the render camera and right moused clicked to "Center on imgn45w122_13.img shader"
That's the terrain loader.
Camera moves to the geo referenced terrain.
First problem I have is I have to move and rotate the camera around for a few minutes because usually the camera moves to someplace under the ground.
Not a big deal but a bit weird because at first all you see is gray with no sense of direction.
Got the camera pointed at the terrain. Now I want to rotate the camera to the right.
I can't do it. If I try the camera just rotates around on it's Z axis. It's like it's banking instead of rotating.
I tried the navigation controls with the same results.
Any idea what's going on and can it be made easier to use?
Also can we get a season and time of day adjustment for the sunlight?
At the moment it's more guess work than anything else when trying to position the sunlight with georeferenced terrain.
Thanks.
