A Stormy Sea Scene

I'm working on a collaboration with a friend and while I like the direction it's taking, I was wondering if anyone had any tips for improvement.  The gliders are the friend's work, I'm using Big Fat Atmo and the planet is the Simple Gas Giant that came with TG3.  The scene is meant to be a very rough sea (gravity's a little low), just before or after a storm.  I'm thinking there needs to be spray and the appearance of breakers on the crests, but I've never done water this rough before, though, so I'm not sure how to go about that.

Use powerfractals for the spray.  voronoi ridges work well.

Now we're talking.  Thanks.  I tried that out, tweaking the settings and I think I like what happened.  I have an HD render in progress that I'll post later.

Alright, at a full render I got this.  I think it looks pretty good.  Not the most realistic but then again, if it was, the provided glider model would look out of place, so maybe it works in this context.  I definitely intend to experiment with this wave foam/spray for a more realistic project at some point.

Looks great perhaps the displacement is still a little high - btw you can create bubbles with tiny fake stones.

I did figure out how to fix the displacement, so I'm starting a second full render.

Lowered the displacement and came up with a version I'm happy with.  It occurs to me this foam could be adapted to make algae for a swamp, I may try that.

You should add a reflective no-RT shader on top of that foam; it's kind of dull...
