Good man! We've had several birds hitting the glass. Best is to put a box on top of them, to give them unstressed time to get by, without the danger of feral attacks. We even had a cuckoo once, great to view from up close, but the poor bird was very dizzy looking, eyes half closed... put a box over him and an hour later it flew happily away.
