Blackberry brambles are very common in my area, and it's a great groundcover with lots of tangly variation. Here's my take on it, made in Speedtree. While the ST eula prevents me from offering up the mesh, I'll certainly post up the assets if anyone's interested. This is a quick study and the plant probably will be worked on a bit more. Thanks for looking.

Very nice one. Nice render. It reminds me the blackberry jam my mom was used to make
And you're welcome to share it  ;)

Great work, always wanted to do this but never got round to it!  Perhaps a brief description of how it was done in ST would help those of us who might want to have a go.  Assests awould also be welcome

Thanks folks! Be happy to post a small ST workflow on making the Blackberry bush along with the textures.

Hi zaxxon

I'd like to see the ST workflow and have the textures.

Cheers Mick

Inkydigit: Thank you! This image was a test run for the BB objects, so yeah the base was a little sparse. I know about Walli's great plants, and probably have most of them. I'm very much a novice plant builder and have great respect for the skills to make botanically correct foliage and with the enormous variety that Walli has created over the years. But the advantage of having a dynamic set of plant bases to alter and shape to the environment makes it hard to continue with my collection of 'static' meshes, even though many are far better then I can currently make. Here's a crop of a WIP with the BBBrambles in a little less 'sparse' a setting  :)

Mick: Coming up as soon as I can get CamStudio to do it's thing, hopefully I'll have that later today. Thanks for the interest!

The plants do look great

That last image looks amazing. Do you have a larger render?

The last image is terrific!
