This started as an amazon sunset landscape, but at some point I realized I used the wrong trees, so it's just a river sunset (note the caiman resting on the tiny shore). Flare effect added in postwork.

Agree, this is interesting and very good.

Agree with Zaxxon, really nice looking "wrong trees".

Good looking scenery and it would be interesting to see it in full daylight.

I too like this render, the lighting is very nice. But I do have some criticism; you should do some more work on the barren grey shore on the right, IMHO. It's a bit nondescript... is it mud, or stone? Maybe some vegetation and fake stones or more color variation would increase the beauty of this image. I would also decrease the 'wildness' of the water to very subtle wavelets. And if you could do some vine-like stuff (hanging algae) on the fallen tree, that would really be awesome.

That's true Ulco, I could have done a better job on that shore on the right. I wanted to create (actually I also tested) a slightly reflective material to simulate mud, but got bored with wrong attempts and high render times. I'll try to revisit this image and see if I can improve it. Thanks for the comments.
