Just getting back to my favorite desert scenes.

zaxxon

A glorious sky and a fine open vista! Beautiful image.

Thank you both Kadri and Zaxxon. The only thing that bugs me is that foreground cactus. Note the lower portion where a section appears lighter than the rest of it. When this object appears in other backgrounds, there are no issues. It only happens in this image.

Hannes

Great image, Bob!
The upper portion of the catus is brighter too. No idea what could have caused this, but it seems that some render buckets render different than the others?!

Thank you Hannes. The enviro light is set at eight giving the best foreground illumination for the sun's altitude. I think maybe this caused the banding in the lower part of the cactus.

Thank you Oleg. The deserts offer many nice scenes.

Another fine example of your work, Bob. The lighting is exquisite.

Very nice! Curious dilemma with the cactus too. Let us know if it's the  enviro light value that is causing it :)

Simple and efficient! Very nice picture! and very strange issue with the light on the cactus....
