Haven't posted in along time but I recently purchased the creative version of TG and my first project was going back and reworking some old  renders without the restrictions of the free version. I was a little worried about render times cranking up settings, the first on took about 12 hours, not too bad so i pushed it a bit and the second took 56  :o not doing that again lol. Hope y'all enjoy.

Love the 2nd image!

I think both of these are really quite nice. The glow effect on the 2nd (lake) image is a bit heavy for my taste, but the look of the vegetation is really quite excellent.

Very nice works and realistic ! What were your render settings ? Usually 0.65-0.75 for details and 0.7-0.9 for AA are fine. Higher than that, render time takes too long for almost no difference in quality in most situations.

Both were at 1.1 detail, AA was 6 for the first one and 8 for the second. The higher settings were out of curiosity just to see how good I could get it too look, although 12 hours isn't too unreasonable to me since I'll often set up a scene and let it render overnight. Thank you for the kind words!

Very beautiful work.

Very impressive and inspirational creativity.

Excellent work. I really like the second one but I'd like to see some foam rather than the whitish glow around the rocks.

Hmmm, I like the idea although I'll admit I've never really messed around with creating foam but that would definitely add some realism to the lake and shoreline.

Start with a masked power fractal using voronoi ridges - perhaps stretched a little.

The second one is absolutely gorgeous. Fabulous all over I think.
