Hoodoos; or Goblins as some call them can be found all over the world, especially in dry desert areas. Re: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoodoo_%28geology%29 .

Many thanks to Dune, mhaze, dandelO, Walli and others for their inspirations and files I've collected over the years to help create this image.

Enjoy,

Bob

This "hoodoo" rocks are crazy cool stuff. Just looked up a pix from Bryce Canyon Utah...just cannot believe that there are rocks like those around.

Wow Bob, that looks amazing. Very natural. I especially like the grass with the curled blades. Is it grass?

Thanks Hannes. Their are two grasses. The lighter one is a model from Walli. The darker one I've had for years. It is a dry grass clump with a mix of some weeds. Must check the file size. If it isn't too large, I could share it with you.

Very cool.
Is it me, or is the top quarter or so of the goblins a smoother texture than the rest; it sort of looks like there is a horizontal line separating the lower, detailed three quarters from the upper, smoother quarter................. or it could be the fact that I need to get a new pair of glasses............ ::)
OK, who farted?

Hannes

Didn't notice that before, but at least the foremost goblin seems to have this kind of separation?!
Keep your glasses. ;)
