Need improvements. Any suggestions?

TheBadger

Can you get some light beams to come through the trees a bit? May add a lot of nice drama. Also, please don't make me lay on the ground like a worm. Im a man not a worm! ;D ;D ;D

Dune

Yes, it lacks some vivid light, the wood is very dark. Maybe also some undergrowth.

masonspappy

Good start - maybe raise the POV a foot or so?

archonforest

Cool one. I could just drive my not existing Impreza over there :D :D
For suggestion I would put some variety between the grassy stuff. Right now looks pretty uniformish.

Can you keep the rays but have them come in from left or right?
Big change in feel from the first.
This will be fun to watch evolve.

I like the centered rays myself. Very nice.

Dune

I like this too, looks like the scene of a ufo coming down. Maybe you could add a very subtle ufo right in the light, and a person gazing right in front. Something adding interest. You could even use a small lake object up in the air with some default shader's opacity pattern, and nothing more. Have it throw shadows on the clouds.

mesocyclone

The UFO is surely a great idea, but I originally thought of something like an archway. I found a very nice model for free on the internet and I'm actually setting iteration 3 for render. Also, dropped gamma correction values.

Thank you for all the feedback!

Iteration 3. Not sure if it's my monitor or the foreground is too dark.

Kadri

I like the last one. Nice addition.

Dune

Yeah, that does it! Great!
