Mostly happy with this but for some reason just not all the way. Suggestions?

Hannes

Looks good so far! Some suggestions as requested ;):
More plant species, more texture work for the ground, less rough water.

Cocateho

Texture, plants, easy enough.  ::) What are the options as far as water shaders go? Is there some way to use the displacement from another shader and still keep the color of the water shader, or maybe just smooth out the waves of the water shader?

Hannes

You can of course use other shaders for the water surface by adding a displacement shader, but in this case I'd just reduce the wave roughness and -size a little bit. You could also play with the patch effeect.

Like the colors...and the comp.... :)

Breaking up your populations a bit might help (denser in come areas, and sparser in others).  Also, adding some context to the scene by putting something in the water could draw the viewer's attention in more.  Other than that, I like what I see.

Looks good as is. But I agree that it can be even better.

Hmmm, I agree it needs some point of interest, as well as some more variation. Is there anywhere to find decent free objects?(other than plants)

I also would like to add waves but not really sure how, though I know it's doable.

TheBadger

What objects do you want? There are tons, it would just be easier to give you links if we know precisely what you are after. in the meantime, this may be of use to you.

Maybe a ship, some people, a building, not really sure exactly but it could use something... I'll know when I see it  ;D haha. Thanks for the link!

You've got a good one going here. Maybe a ship and a building.
