Yeah, and they just released a 1.0 version of "Arena", an early version multiplier dogfight component. I haven't played it yet, but the videos look great. And the fact that this is intended to be just one component of a massive game that includes trade, exploration, crafting, *and* will have first person (thanks in no small part to use of the excellent CryEngine)... well, it's a lot of potential for sure. I'm definitely following this one... (and contributed more than a year ago, too).
I'm curious to see how it ends up comparing to Elite: Dangerous and No Man's Sky...
