spherical camera frame edge artifact

Hi all,
     I am rendering a latlong image with the spherical camera but have discovered that the pixels on the edge of frame get darker. Has anyone else experienced this? My setup is non-standard so I'll have to check to see if that might be the cause but thought I'd throw the question out there in the meantime. Zoomed in rendered frame edge is attached.

Yes, i get this as well with spherical rendering.
Not sure but I think it was supposed to be fixed at some point?

It's been reduced a lot but it's still there.  Also check the lower left corner. Not sure of the cause but my usual workaround is to add 2px to the width of the render, and then crop 1px off the left and right edges after the render.  I'm usually rendering at 10,000 - 15,000px wide so the loss of 2px isn't noticeable. e.g. https://www.360cities.net/image/candor-chasma-peru

The top pixel row isn't so much of a problem as it remaps to a single point. If you want to edit it, just select the top row of pixels and fill it with a colour from the row below it. Alternatively you could also add 1px to the render height and then crop 1px off the top as well. At least this minor cropping can be automated easily enough if you're working on an animation.

You could also replicate the first rows/columns that look(s) normal and then overwrite the affected rows/columns to maintain full geometric coverage of the image. Like you said, the missing rows/columns or replicated rows/columns shouldn't be noticeable.

Thanks all for the good advice. I do have to run the image through Nuke to make a tiff before I make the actual texture so that gives me the opportunity to manipulate it. I wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong in my Terragen setup.
