Well I found a scene I'd started and  got all ADD on but finally came back to it. In all the tests the characters had their textures on but after an age rendering overnite and all I got this. I touched nothing on the characters but when I checked this morning the texures were assigned from someone else's computer...sigh...and it still wasn't finished....starting again...

Maybe render layers for just the characters?  I don't know how to use it, though.

No can do, Free Ver. But it was a fortunate mistake as they were 20% too large..all fixed now. I nailed the wheelbase on the Invicta from the net and adjusted the scene to it but the characters seem a slightly different scale. I saved them as .obj and checked them out in 3D Exploration actually inside the house and they work main flr to attic @ .45 and look way better in the scene. In the interim I found a fully loaded library unit I have, 2nd flr left, now the library I guess.

I always try to use relative paths for files ;) Makes switching computers easier.  You didn't get any warnings on the missing textures on loading?

Dunno what it was Ben, They were good one minute and then on the render some how they changed address on me. I had just done a test render before I went to bed on them guys. I keep all textures same folder as the .obj or .tgo . Just another mystery I'll never know the answer to I guess
