Nice................need to get rid of the grain. Just take your decimal point out of your quality setting.  :P

Yeah, nothing a few 0's won't cure...  I usually post things early because I'm looking for feedback and usually not using optimal render settings.

Very, very nice idea and mood!

A little bit high hill on the road in the foreground. That is what I see at first sight.

Rest is what you already explained  ;)

Dune

Nice layout, and I think this can work out real fine. The road isn't optimal indeed, and perhaps playing with the patch settings of the water shader will give the water some diversity.

It's more of a footpath than an actual road.  What part don't you like about it?  I'll try the path water effect.  I haven't used that setting much, though.

Dune

If it's a path, I would narrow it, maybe add some stones. It's very conspicuous. Furthermore, it would be nice if it could follow the isolines, sort of. But then you'd have to warp it with the terrain, which is a different setup.

Agree with Dune re: the path...it has the same thing happening that often happens to me. Compared to the veg around it the path is more a road in apparent width...just nibble in on the sides of the Paint shader?
