Its trippy to see how different the windows version of TG is from the mac version that I use as far as the pop windows etc, interesting.

Yeah, Ulco is definitely old-schooling it when it comes to the UI on his Windows boxes. That's Windows 2000 stuff right there.

But his images definitely aren't TG Classic/2000. :)

Looking your screenshot I have a question. Maybe a stupid one but how come you even have a 3d preview when u have a broken flow line?

He's just disconnected the default terrain features and connected his demonstration nodes instead. The default mask/mountains no longer show in the preview, only his vortex creation, which is connected to the Compute Terrain.

Simplicity. I don't like all the fancy windows stuff. Clean and tight is what I want. And regarding the setup, I've said it before; you don't always need the compute terrain, certainly not for such simple demo's, so Mick is completely right.

The reason I asked coz i have only a black screen even though I have pretty much the same node set up... :(

OKay here is the update for the nomansland stuck scene. It is not stuck anymore thanks for Dune and for the other who helped with ideas.

So I have the castle in place and the road is kinda i/p. Trees and stuff comin' after I feel good fully with the road. Sky will be handled after.

What do you guys think about it?

The road is a bit too yellow. You could make the 'castle' top a greyer color, to make it more distinct as a castle. You can also try and see what happens if you put a strata shader in the castle line as well, small sizes.

Yes I will handle the road for sure. Just did not found the correct dust color so far I like. Will try the rest of the ideas. Thx Dune :)
