I was going to attach this to my last post but I can't modify it!

Anyway - getting there.  Three layers of square noise, very slight warping and the addition of some soft voronoi cracks.  So many variation are possible that I shall be playing with this for a very long time!

Hannes

Looks cool!! And the soft moss as well. Is it procedural?

Dune

Seems indeed like you got it. Great rocks! It's all about an initial compute, then add the blocks.  I agree it's too much fun to stop working on it.
I do like the moss/grass also.  EDIT: Ah, just anwered, before I asked.

fleetwood

Looking better and better.

mhaze

Thanks fleetwood,  Dune, Hannes, he said laughing!!! the moss is supposed to be distant grass. Needs more variation and something to give scale!

Dune

I think it looks like grass, but if you add some flowering grasses and a few shrub, it's even more clear.

Thank you, you're right Dune but I think I'll leave this here and move on, using this in a new picture.

Very nice rocks indeed! Reminds me quite a lot of some eroded sandstone in my area.

The rocks are very nice and i like what you did for the vegetation. It looks like believable fuzzy distant grasses.
