Long time no see.  ;D Trying to activate myself again with Terragen after so long time. A lot of things to memorize and new things to study. Here's some scenes I did recently. All pure TG, no postwork.

Lady of the Lake

All are fantastic....but the first one is my favorite.

Dune

Yeah, I can't remember seeing much of you, so good to see some of your work. I prefer the bottom image because of its light. In the top one I don't understand the huge tree(s), and the big rock can be better, IMHO. The leafless trees alone would be enough, perhaps.

fleetwood

The sunset one is especially nice.  :)

Hannes

Each one is very good, but I prefer the 2nd and the 3rd. I like the third one's cloud especially.

Image 1 with the large trees, i can understand if you are doing Sequoias or Coastal Redwoods but you have to alter the environment to fit the tree species in. That would work under those conditions, however all three of your images have something neat going on with them. The stone does seem out of place.

Image three is a favorite. The highlighted thin line along the clouds is something neat to see.

Je vois les sapins bizarre. Il faudrait ajouter un powerfractal pour que se soit plus réaliste on dirait que le tronc est lisse contrairement aux sapins.

I see the strange trees. It would add a powerfractal that is more realistic it looks like the trunk is smooth unlike trees. ;)

TheBadger

3rd one is especially good!  8)
It has been eaten.

3rd one wins! I like the light and the clouds very much.

Thanks a lot for your comments! I agree that the large trees in the image 1 don't fit into the scene very well. They were supposed to be like firs found in taiga climates, but I didn't find suitable fir model. After all that was kinda like warming up scene to start up with terragen again. :D

I do add my congratulations. All of the 3 images are really great.
Can you tell me which trees you used for 2 and 3 ?

Thank you. I used Bishop pine and Monterey cypress from xfrog. There is also some birches, but they are quite small not so visible.

El Kabong

Like the monotonenish of the second image.
If every picture tells a story, what's up with the human skull. How'd it get there? Where's the rest of the bones?

Your groundcover is awesome and scenes are set up really great too. However the trees in the first image are a bit unreal-ish. Nice work though. You get an A!
