The beginning stages of what could be a passable mountain range. Far from perfect as i need to adjust the ridges more, add strata, and fix the main river alternative sense the Erosion shader can not (as far as i am aware) create a river that goes parallel to the valley slope on a completely flat terrain. The color shading is very basic for editing purposes.

Some improvements for the river but it still does not follow the valley well enough. I still need to soften all of the lower slopes near the valleys. Raising the deposition altitude might help? The river warp is slightly off so that needs to be fixed.

Once the set of maps is quite okay, you can always add/delete river parts by painted shader (or of course a topdown render for working on maps in PS).

Some close up peaks with some additional experiments using tilted strata along with erosion. The Strata and outcrops shader may be causing some offset issues with the erosion. The bottom parts of the strata seems somewhat odd looking. The clouds could be a bit brighter but not certain if that is needed.

That's pretty cool, Chris. I don't think the clouds should be lighter, they're okay to me. I think if you break up the strata (simply by Y stretched PF), the offset 'artifacts' aren't as visible, and you get a more worn effect.

The clouds seem to lack some definition but i may leave them be, cloud highlights i meant. I certainly can add your suggestion to the strata.
