Thought they were a seashore bird?

Nice.
I would try a different POV too Ulco. Looks just a little unbalanced to me...

Dune

They're the wood pigeons I made, but they're too dark and not in their right environment. A structure test anyway. I was going for this kind of terrain, but got distracted.

Antoine

Well done, the tree is very realistic ! Are the white spots on the bottom left bushes shadows area on purpose ?

Nice work, boy, that tree gets around!

@Antoine: no there's something fishy going on. I thought they were light falling through the shrub, but it's in some stones as well. It's a bit of a complicated setup without a compute terrain, and I still have to find the culprit.

Cliffs look more convincing in the newest. One thing I notice in the photo is that almost every grouping of bushes/grass has its own slight mound where the roots hold on to and collect the sand.
It would be a nice addition to realism to duplicate those mounds and grass distribution.

Nice desert.
The shrubs in the second are cool.

Mick it's not always the same tree, they are many and ready to take over soon. ;)

Dune

Salt flats.

last one is great... the structures are really nice!

In the first one the first thing I saw was (ooooh I did an accidental palindrome) a one tooth face in the trunk of the tree...made me chuckle. Query: How do you populate without a Compute Terrain or is one added after the displacements?
something borrowed,
something Blue.
