Hello,

I wanted to try the Luc Bianco last stones pack so I thought about a rocky desert scene and have later added an ancient Egyptian style structure modeled in Modo, even if it is not a sandy desert place as it should be.

Cool scene and I love the terrain you've created.....the rocks rock if you'll excuse the over used expression...If I ever get any disposable income there are many items at NWDA that I'd like and the rocks just made the list.

Looks pretty cool. Perhaps the building needs some variation and dirt?

Yeah, forgot to mention the newness of the ancient structure

J'aime énormément le terrain et la lumière. Je suis moins fan par contre de cette architecture. J'aimerais même davantage sans aucune construction qu'elle soit moderne ou ancienne.

Thank you for your comments !

I have deleted the ancient structure as indeed it didn't fit well in this image. It would have been very hard to age with many broken stones and dust flowing naturally here and there on the monuments. I don't know how to achieve this kind of natural flowing in Terragen and in Modo it would require a lot of ressource I don't have.

This is better indeed. Nice use of the square noise. Perhaps break it up here and there by small fractal displacement.

Digging the second one for sure

Very, very nice. What would look golden is breaking the rocks up just slightly with some small scale procedural erosion. The slightness can be controlled using a Constant color function with the mask input.

In fact the second one is much better.  :)
