Above Grenoble ("capital" of the french Alps)

Yes, I did the same thing we all did with Google Earth: I loooked at the place I live. Grenoble is the biggest town of the french Alps. It is between 3 ranges:
-north: Chartreuse
-east: Belledonne
-west: Vercors

At the center of the image is the ski resort of Chamrousse. The big white moutain on the left is...the Mont Blanc (White Mountain! ), 4810m and highest mountain of western Europe. On the right you can see the glacier of "Les 2 Alpes" ski resort (you can ski in summer there!)

One of many underused functions in Terragen, everything is lined up nicely, that was a an issue for a while until they fixed it.  Very nice

It's not that underused in my line of work for sure.
The lining up thing was a pain and occasionally still is when the image projections are slightly askew compared to the DEM.
Anyway! A beautiful area of the world. Well done.
