I finally finished this image i started a few years ago.

Hannes

Wow, this looks cool. The colours look a bit oversaturated, but it has a certain style.

Kadri

Looks nice René
The far parts could have a little more detail and color variation maybe.

ajcgi

:) So much style... almost like the Thunderbirds or the Jetsons or similar.

There are a few more things i would like to change Kadri, things i only noticed when i saw the final larger render(happens often.) The water took a ages to render, so for now i'm leaving it as it is. :)

I rendered with micropoly detail 0.7, anti-aliasing 5.

Haha, that's exactly what i had in mind when i started, but eventually it became something else.

I really like your palette, here, and in your prior images. Fantasy illustration with warmth and light, works for me!

Hetzen

You can see The Incredibles on that beach.

Dune

Very nice and bright, pleasant future. I'll go for this. Water is indeed often a problem. In this image I don't think you'd need a water shader, but just a reflective, and if you have the foam after it (with an additional non-RT reflective, that might reduce your render time considerably. With such low POV it would be possible to not use a sea/plane/sphere for water, but use the planet itself.

René

Thanks Dune. I'll definitely keep this in mind; there is virtually no transparency visible in this case except on the right where the water hits the beach, but that could be solved with just a lighter color i guess.

Great light agree about the over saturation but there's certainly a lot of great things in this render

"Designated as a "pleasure planet", Risa was an inhabited Federation planet. This planet was the homeworld of the humanoid Risians. It was orbited by at least two moons and located in a binary system about ninety light years from the Sol system."

I copied that from http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Risa

"Risa" was immediately what I thought when I saw your image. I love it!  :)

I agree the colors are saturated, especially the sky and water, and that may not be to everyone's taste. ;) It's just my way of dealing with a childhood trauma caused by the Thunderbirds fifty years ago, but i will keep an eye on those colors in the future.
These two images show the colors and the mood i had in mind.  :)
