Is there a way to move several objects / heightfields / localised cloud layers / you name it together through the workspace in a set "formation"? That could be handy. Maybe I just don't know the option exists.

Just came from DAZ Studio where there is no such option, so I'm wondering. :P Strange, given DS focuses on multitude of details and objects that sometimes just beg to be relocated as a group. Otherwise, it's just maddeningly unhelpful...

No that I'm aware of. You'd have to do that separately for the different items, one in a different way than the other.

We live in eternal hope of that feature...would in many cases, save a ton of hassle/time for sure....and it's maddening here as well. Imagine had grouping in 1995 so it shouldn't be that hard to implement. Even just Grouping of like types would be a major time saver and well, we already have Group containers. But I am mos def not a programmer so I tend not to hammer that nail too hard.

Got your point. ;) Well, I'm neither a programming expert. But that option would certainly make life easier in a multitude of situations.
