The Youtube video is great. The starships look and work as if they were built nowadays, or maybe even earlier, e.g. in the sixties. It is a nice touch that they are placed next to contemporary planes.

Yeah, I think it's a cool look. Military-industrial like engineering. I like the way the ships warped at the end in the Youtube one. I don't know if that's at all realistic. But to me it seems more realistic than what's in the movies. The warp drive is suppose to be a warp field (created with a similar tech as the shields) and than warping space around the ship. So the ship doesn't move. So when I saw what he did it seems almost more realistic. The 360 directional light burst is cool.
