Friday....snow and cold....Sunday sunny and mowing grass....

Latest Frontier release path traced 5 surface layers with displacement, a lake with volume density

Reduced reflection but still got quite a bit

The coastline could need a bit work perhaps but I don't have in mind how a coastline of a frozen sea should look in this moment.

But all in all very convincing freezing ambience :)

masonspappy

Yeah - it really does look cold!

WAS

Definitely looks like really hard, almost flash frozen landscape. Looks cool.

Perhaps a surface layer cutting the frozen ice down to the bare rock, as if the ice had been expanding and contracting and scraping up the ground.

Adjusted the coastline, scraped down some snow, and changed the ice water.....now really really really cold...

Indeed! I wouldn't want to fall off a ship there ;)
So, what if you would make some remaining ice sheet or icebergs floating in that icy water?

DocCharly65

Really cold! :)

Good idea with the remaining ice sheet.
