More experimentation with GeoControl 2. This time i wanted to fake many trees from a good distance. As one can see there is potential for decent flora from a bird's eye view just by using the noise filter inside GeoControl. I can stack more noise to get a better effect for the trees, obviously this is all in testing. Here also is The River Tool at work.

Ooh, can't wait to see what people do with this when it comes out :).

The demo is available now, if you own version 1.  I don't.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

GC2 looks promising...just got the pre-release of GC2 and watched the roads tutorial on vectors....its amazing!

yea, I've always been more a WM user but GC2 looks nice.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

It is a very informative tutorial. To think Cajomi is going to continue to advance the Vector Tool so who knows what it will be capable of in the future.

I am looking forward to testing out World Machine 2 as well. So WM is not out of the picture with me. But i am beta testing GC 2 so i am greatly obligated to that software.

The impression of really flowing water in the first image is awesome.

That was the result of the "add fractal detail" function. I need to add a mask to the river as well for reflection but that will take some time. It is very hard to figure that alpha masking stuff out. Overall i will probably re-do the entire image as it needs more noise and color variations for the trees.
