I did away with the stream theme this time... Would like to tighten up the dense rock layer at the water's edge which is mask controlled by the lake's SSS.  Possibly could be done by adjusting the edge of the SSS and displacement factor, but for me it's like trying to herd otters.  Also a spotty population of hero boulders at the base of the bluff would nice but... So for now it is what it is.

Yes, if you use a test color and the end of the line, and a color adjust from the lake SSS, you can easily see the width of the edge changing if you change parameters of the SSS. You can also use 2 color adjusts and multiply (or multiply complement) to make a ring mask around your water, perhaps for some coastal high reeds or so, or foam...
I would also reduce choppiness, and work on your shrub distribution; more patchy.

Oh, and post jpg's instead of png's. Jpg's load faster and take less space.

I would but images show a "banding" effect in the atmosphere.  With .png images, I don't but yes, the file size is larger.  With the internet provider I have, though, there's very little difference in loading speed.  Maybe half a second longer.  Tell you what - I'll post my next image a Jpeg.  I saved it with all the settings at optimal.  You will see.

I am just repeating a request from staff from a few years back (maybe I shouldn't) to not post overly large files if not necessary. But maybe it's not too important anymore, with larger servers (and less folk here). But yes, banding may occur in some jpg's.
